Baldwin just became its own city a year ago. There has been lots of turn over on planning commission and now the city council. The other candidates want to build a new fire,city,liquor store and I believe we don’t need them at this time and should rehab current facilities. Also give permitting back to shurburne county.

I believe the current buildings could be remodeled and brought up to date with much less funds than building a new city hall, fire station, liquor store.
When I talk to people across our community, there is one clear issue that comes up again and again: we need a better focus on getting our streets and roads fixed. Every day, we all rely on our local roads to get where we need to go, but they simply aren't getting the attention they deserve. If elected, I will make it my mission to bring our focus back to these essential basics. I will work hard to ensure we are actively fixing our streets and maintaining the infrastructure we use every single day. It is about pride in our neighborhood and making sure our community has the safe, reliable roads we all expect and deserve.
